visiting the aeaf
The AEAF is located inside the Lion Arts Centre complex which is on the corner block between Morphett Street and North Terrace next to the Morphett St Bridge. Enter from the eastern side between the Jam Factory and Mercury Cinema - AEAF is set between and behind both. From North Terrace enter the courtyard/piazza between the Fowler Arts Building and UNISA, the AEAF is straight ahead past Aleks Danko's 'House'.
It's easy to get to the AEAF by tram, bus, or on foot. Catch the free tram shuttle service anywhere en route from South Terrace and get off at the City West stop (the end of the line). The city loop is a free bus service that stops on North Terrace and Hindley Street, both in close proximity to the aeaf. Download the map below for more aeaf-specific information; visit Adelaide metro site for other details.
Access is available to all areas of the gallery and bookshop. Please ask the EAF staff for assistance.
Groups & schools are welcome to make a time to visit. AEAF staff will be happy to talk with your group about the current exhibition in relation to experimental art practice and contemporary art practices in general. Please call ahead to arrange a time and to talk about your particular focus.
